ROOT CHAKRA (Muladhara)

The Root Chakra is the first chakra in the body’s energy system. In Sanskrit, it is called Muladhara, which is often translated as “root support” or “foundation.”

It is located at the base of the spine and is connected to your sense of safety, stability, grounding, and belonging in the physical world.

Think of it like this:

The Root Chakra is the part of your energy that asks: • Am I safe in my body? • Can I trust the ground beneath me? • Do I feel supported in my life? • Do I belong here, exactly as I am?

The Root Chakra is your energetic foundation: the place where your body, your life, and your presence meet the Earth.

It governs: your connection to your physical body your sense of safety and security your nervous system and ability to relax your relationship with survival, money, and support your ability to feel grounded, present, and here

If the Solar Plexus Chakra says: “I trust myself to act, choose, and create my path” The Root Chakra says: “I am safe to be here, supported by life itself.
